I recently stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the fast Wi-Fi and comfy bed. The rooftop pool and cozy lounge area were perfect spots to unwind after exploring the city. Just a heads up, the breakfast could use a bit more variety—but overall, it was a nice stay! 😊

We really enjoyed exploring the local area with the kids. The beach was just a short walk away, and they loved building sandcastles. Plus, the bustling atmosphere of nearby restaurants added to our family's fun experience.
My kids wished for a mini-fridge in the room.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Sur. The location proved ideal for exploring Malaga’s rich cultural scene, with attractions just a short walk away. The rooms were clean and comfortable, providing a welcoming atmosphere. However, the lack of a safe did raise some concerns about security.

Recommend it for budget travelers
The breakfast was actually a real surprise for us, at 5 Euros, it was first-class for what you pay! And man, the friendly staff were really helpful, they even advised us on where to find good local coffee shops, especially when that breakfast timing almost messed us up!
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but I guess for the location, it was still acceptable.

The room was small but totally fine for our stay. The bed was super comfy, and the bathroom was clean. It had AC, which was a lifesaver. The soundproofing could be better, though, as I heard some noise from the street and cleaning staff in the morning. Overall, it was a cozy spot while exploring the city.

Great location near the historic city center and plenty of bars and restaurants just outside. The air conditioning works exceptionally well, and the staff were friendly and attentive. While the breakfast was decent, I missed having a mini-bar and coffee/tea facilities in the room. It would also be great to have English channels on the TV for additional entertainment.

The location of Sur in Malaga is fantastic. It's just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. I loved being able to explore everything on foot. The staff were super friendly, always ready to help. My room was clean and had a comfortable bed, making it easy to get a good night's sleep. However, sound isolation could be improved. I could hear noise from outside, which interrupted my rest at times. Also, a fridge in the room would have been nice to keep drinks cool. The breakfast was decent, with a good selection for a reasonable price. Overall, it was a solid stay, but if you're sensitive to noise, this might not be the best fit.

The location of Sur is a gem, just a stone's throw from the buzzing heart of Malaga. The nearby eateries, like Al Grano and La Calo, had me jumping for joy with their tasty bites. Plus, the clean, modern rooms were super comfy, making you feel right at home!
However, handing over the key every time we left felt a bit silly, and the lack of a proper safe made me a little uneasy about our valuables.
